Ribeye steak, often referred to as the "king of steaks," is a premium cut of beef that is highly prized for its rich flavor, tenderness,

and marbling. Cut from the rib section of the cow, typically between the 6th and 12th ribs, this steak is known for its juicy texture and exceptional taste,

making it a favorite among steak enthusiasts and chefs alike. The ribeye is characterized by its generous marbling,

which are streaks of intramuscular fat that melt during cooking, infusing the meat with a buttery flavor and ensuring a moist, succulent bite every time.

Ingredients:

  • - 2 ribeye steaks, about 1 inch thick
  • - Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • - Olive oil or butter, for cooking
  • - Optional: Garlic cloves, fresh herbs (such as rosemary or thyme)

Instructions:

1. Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. This helps ensure even cooking.

2. Preheat your grill or a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. You want to get the cooking surface hot before adding the steaks.

3. While the grill or skillet is heating up, pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. Season both sides generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
