Pizza pasta casserole is a comforting and hearty dish that combines the best of two beloved classics: pizza and pasta.
This versatile recipe layers tender cooked pasta with rich marinara or pizza sauce, gooey melted cheese, and a variety of flavorful toppings, creating a satisfying and crowd-pleasing meal. The casserole typically starts with a base of pasta,
such as penne, rotini, or elbow macaroni, which is tossed in a savory tomato-based sauce. The pasta is then layered in a baking dish with shredded mozzarella,
parmesan, or a blend of Italian cheeses, ensuring a creamy and cheesy texture in every bite.
Directions:
- 16 ounce box of penne pasta(cooked)
- 5 strips of cooked bacon
- 1cup of parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces of mozzarella cheese
- 24 ounces of four cheese pasta sauce
instrection:
1tbsp garlic powder
1tsp salt
1/2tsp black pepper
Add sauce to cooked pasta. Stir in garlic, salt,black pepper and 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese. Mix well. Pour into 9 by 13 greased pan, add rest of parmesan on top, followed by the mozzarella cheese. Top with pepperoni, bacon, and bake uncovered on 400 for 20 mins
