ingredients:
°2 c all-purpose flour
°2 c sugar
°2 eggs
°1 teaspoon baking soda
°1 teaspoon vanilla
°pinch of salt
°1 - 20 ounces crushed (undrained) pineapple in its own juice - not syrup
°1 c nuts, optional
Oven 350 degrees F.
cream cheese frosting
1/2 cup butter or 1 stick
1-8 ounces soft cream cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 c confectioners' sugar
Coconut for garnish - optional
methode:
Mixing all cake ingredients in bowl.
Pour into a greased 9" x 13" skillet and bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes (until top is golden brown).
frost:
Beat butter, cream cheese, and vanilla together until creamy.
Mixing powder sugar.
Decorate the cake with cream cheese while it is still warm.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
