Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Salmon 🦐🐟

Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Salmon is a decadent and flavorful seafood dish that combines the rich,

buttery taste of fresh salmon with a savory stuffing of premium crab meat and succulent shrimp. This gourmet entrée is a culinary masterpiece,

perfect for elevating any meal into a fine dining experience. The salmon fillet is carefully prepared, with a pocket or cavity expertly cut to hold the luscious seafood stuffing.

The stuffing itself is a delightful blend of sweet, tender crab meat and juicy shrimp, mixed with complementary ingredients such as cream cheese,

breadcrumbs, fresh herbs, garlic, and a hint of lemon zest for brightness.

Ingredients:

For the Stuffing:

4 ounces lump crab meat, drained and picked over for shells

4 ounces small shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

2 green onions, finely sliced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Salmon:

4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Lemon wedges, for serving

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Prepare the Stuffing:

In a bowl, combine the crab meat, chopped shrimp, cream cheese, Parmesan, mayonnaise, green onions, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended. Set aside.

Prepare the Salmon:

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Using a sharp knife, cut a deep pocket into the side of each fillet, being careful not to slice all the way through.

Stuff the Salmon:

Spoon the crab and shrimp stuffing into each pocket, pressing it gently to fill well.

Season and Sear:

Brush the outsides of the stuffed salmon fillets with olive oil. Sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper.

Cook the Salmon:

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden.

Bake:

Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the stuffing is hot and creamy.

Serve:

Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
